Mission Statement
Good Gaali brings love for humanity, the environment, and the good news of the gospel through the power of the bicycle.
It's All About Love
Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:37-40
Love God and love others. This is how Jesus summed it all up. Good Gaali seeks to fulfill these two commandments in many real and practical ways. We are joining God in His work here on earth by meeting the needs of the people of Uganda. In addition, we are promoting the use of bicycles as an environmentally friendly, healthful, and fun activity - all on bikes that are made with a locally available renewable resource - bamboo! Most importantly, we seek to share the good news of the gospel in all that we do.
Our Statement of Faith
As for Mankind - created for godliness, but failed, everyone. (Gen 1:27, Rom 3:23)
As for God - three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; created the world for His glory; will accomplish that in His own perfect time and way; thru the sacrifice of Jesus, godliness for mankind is possible, coupled with trust in Christ's death and resurrection. (John 14:10, 26 John 15:26; Gen 1:1, 31a, Psalm 19:1; Acts 1:7; 2 Peter 1:3; John 3:16, Eph 1:7)
As for Truth - known only thru inerrant Scripture. (Psalm 119:160, John 17:17)
As for the Present - live in dependence on Christ; speak the gospel often; love God and love others; be doers of the Word; rejoice with others in His love. (John 15:5; Matt 28:19-20; Matt 22:37-40; James 1:22, Eph 2:10; Isa 25:9, Phil 4:4)
As for the Future - God will win, when Christ returns, establishes justice and recreates a new heaven and earth. (Rev 12:10; Rev 19:11; Rev 21:2)
